Michael P. Kurtgis pioneered the introduction of helicopters into the energized environment from a skid-mounted platform in 1979.  In 1981 he made the first Helicopter Bare-Hand contact with an energized conductor.  His efforts produced the world's first and fastest helicopter insulator washing method.  He has been awarded U.S. and international patents for Helicopter Live-Line/Bare-Hand maintenance methods and equipment.  The Airmobile brand of Live-Line/Bare-Hand maintenance is the safest and fastest cost-effective way to maintain your transmission system's reliability.
